We are looking for our next minister!
The Rev. Rob Murray is retiring after 25 years of ministry with us and we are searching for someone to accompany us on the next stage of our faith journey. Although we have been challenged by the pandemic, we are a vital small-town ministry with a strong core of faithful, resourceful, members, and a history of creativity and reinvention. We can offer strong, collaborative, support for our new Pastor, Priest, Minister of Word and Sacrament, or Ordained Ministry personnel, as we discover what new thing God has planned for our congregation and community.
Our constitution requires that we call our minister from one of the denominations that formally recognize our congregation. You must be ordained by, and be in good standing with, one of the following denominations to apply for this position.
The Anglican Church of Canada (Diocese of Rupert’s Land)
Mennonite Church Canada (Mennonite Church Manitoba)
The Presbyterian Church in Canada (Presbytery of Winnipeg)
The United Church of Canada (Prairie to Pine Region)
We encourage qualified applicants to contact the Chair of the Search Committee, Deb Smith, by email: search [at] pinawa [dot] church or to approach their relevant denominational judicatory.
Our congregational and community profile with a detailed description of the position is available HERE.
The position description is now available on the United Church of Canada’s ChurchHub.
